Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swyambhunath Stupa &  Patan Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, with its old temples and palaces, epitomizes the religious and cultural life of the people. Here, the kings of Nepal are crowned and solemnized.  Interesting things for visitors to see are Taleju temple, gigantic figure of Kalbhairav (the god of destruction), Basantapur Durbar, and Temple of Kumari (living goddess) After Durbar Square visit Swayambhunath or also known as the ‘Monkey Temple’, the world’s most glorious Buddhist Stupa of over 2,000 years standing on a hillock at a majestic height of 77m. This site also commands an excellent view of the Kathmandu Valley. Afternoon Visit the Patan Durbar Square, a World Heritage Site. POKHRA

 

Pokhara is situated in the northwestern corner of the Pokhara Valley, which is a widening of the Seti Gandaki valley. The Seti River and its tributaries have dug impressive canyons into the valley floor, which are only visible from higher viewpoints or from the air. To the east of Pokhara is the municipality of Lekhnath, another town in the valley. Pokhra was the ancient capital of Mallas rulers who contributed much to the Nepalese heritage. Day 01 :  Arrive Kathmandu 
Garlanding on arrival, meeting and assistance and transfer to hotel . Overnight at hotel . Afternoon visit Kathmandu Durbar Square including Kumari temple and Swayambhunath Stupa . Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 02 : Kathmandu – Pokhra
Morning departby surface to Pokhara . On arrival check-in at hotel . Afternoon at leisure . Evening, enjoy a boat ride on the Phewa Lake . Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 03 : In Pokhra
Morning view and take a short hiking (subject to weather) trip to Sarangkot . Later proceed on a sightseeing tour to Pokhara including visit to Gupteshwor’s  Cave and Devil’s Fall .Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the serenity of the mountains. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 04 : Pokhra – Kathmandu
Morning drive back to Kathmandu . On arrival check-in at hotel . Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 05 : In Kathmandu
Morning visit Kathmandu Durbar Square including Kumari temple and Swayambhunath Stupa . Afternoon visit Patan Durbar Square . Overnight at Hotel.

 

Day 06 : Depart Kathmandu
Morning visit Pasupatinath temple and Bouddhanath Stupa . Afternoon transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination
